Frida Authentic Mexican Restaurant
Mexican Food in Glenwood Springs 

I spent much of my childhood in the kitchen of my parents' restaurant, "Angelia's Cenaduria", in my small mountain town of Purepero, Michoacan, Mexico.
My parents' restaurant was a rather informal dining space on the other side of a curtain in our home. Spare chairs and tables made up the dining room. Yet, my mother's cooking was beloved by the townspeople, and we became famous for our homestyle cooking.

My mother and father, Angelia and Alberto, believed that feeding
people food of the highest quality was the most important thing and would lead to blessings. When I came to the United States as a young man, I carried that philosophy to feed myself, my friends, and my family.

Eventually, my wife and I decided to share our food with the Roaring Fork Valley and opened "El Pollo Rico". Today we continue my families commitment.
